Introduction: Omni Martial Arts offers classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced students in Judo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and practical self-defense in Astoria, Queens, NY. We also offer personal training or semi-private classes. Kids classes begin at ages 4. Omni Martial Arts offers "Fitness and Self Defense for Every Body". We specialize in Brazilian and Japanese Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Kick Boxing, and Israeli Self Defense. Omni Martial Arts is the only school in Queens that is an affiliate of the Vitor Shaolin Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association (VSBJJ). Classes are taught by Sensei Julio Rivera. Sensei Julio has black belts in Judo and Japanese Jiu Jitsu and has trained extensively in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under world champion Vitor Shaolin and in Israeli Self Defense under world-renowned expert Jack Krystek. He also has extensive training in Kick boxing and MMA. He has appeared as an expert on fitness and martial arts on MTV, PBS, Channel 11 news, National Geographic, and Expert Village.com.
