Introduction: Iâm trained as a lighting designer for theatre, which gives me a unique persuasion towards storytelling in my photographs. I firmly believe in capture the story of you or your special day in a fine art print you'll cherish for years to come. Youâll never hear me say, âCheese!â unless Iâm offering a tasty snack. I believe that a genuine smiles is one of the best things in the world, but sometimes the perfect photo doesnât need one. You wont typically find me carting a tripod, as Iâm often bending, twisting, and crawling to capture the best of you in a photograph. I adore working outside and with natural light. The combination of these creates a unique experience for my clients both during our photo session, and with the artwork they'll proudly display in their homes Photography is my dream job, so I love EVERYTHING about it. My favourite parts are capture the story of my client through a single click of the shutter, and seeing my clients faces when they look at their photos.

Sarah photographed my daughter, granddaughter and grandpuppy. She is professional, unobtrusive and and wonderful at capturing the moment. Her vision is almost better than the actual moment and she excels at creating memories that are tangible.

I had two sets of official photos taken in the last month, and Blue Photography's were phenomenally better than the first set. Well framed and well lit, they also managed to catch me in ways that did not look posed or contrived.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of the PPA (Profession Photographer's Association) and keep myself busy with continually fine-tuning my craft and keeping up with trends and advances in photography
What types of customers have you worked with?
I specialize in portrait photography ranging from kid and family portraits to engagement and wedding photography. I know how important a portrait can be for my clients, so I will work with you to find the perfect, meaningful location for the shoot. Following the shoot, your images are carefully color-corrected and lightly retouched so that your best shines through. I wont be satisfied unless you have a fantastic shoot and you completely fall in love with your photographs.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I recommend that customers look for a photographer they think they'll get a long with. Photography is a uniquly personal and intimate thing, and I love walking away from a session with new life-long friends. If you don't think we'll get along, or you don't like my style of photographer, we're probable both better off not trying to force it. I'm sure there's the perfect photographer out there for you, even if it might not be me.
