Mark was our DJ for our wedding . He is charming , entertaining. He played what we wanted. He added more music that we all loved. Made our special day a life long wonderful memory.

Mark was our DJ for our March 2011 wedding. He did such a great job..we were so happy with how everything went! He played everything that I had requested, and kept the party going all night! I'd definitely contact him again for an event in the future!

Mark did my Grandparent's (surprise) 50th Wedding Anniversary party and he was phenominal! The play list was perfect for everyone. He had some oldies, some dance music for the kids, he even had my Grandparent's Wedding song. He allowed time for special speeches and he took requests. Who could want anything more!
Hersh Productions's reply
Thanks Jackie! That was a good time for sure! I'll see you out-and-about soon!

We have used Mark Hersh at a safety awards banquet for the last two years and have him scheduled again this year. Not only did he MC for us, he provided great music, games and kept the group entertained all night. You won't go wrong.

Thanks Jeff! Look forward to seeing everyone in June!!!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I am in the entertainment business on a full time basis, therefore on any given week, I have between 5 and 7 jobs lined up. During the week I run an 'Open Mic' night with Live Musicians, as well as a 'Trivia Night' and a 'Karaoke Night', and during the weekdays I perform at various Nursing Home facilities. My weekends are reserved for Weddings and Formal Banquets! And I do A LOT of them! Probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 5000 parties over the years!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would have to say, that my biggest selling point, is that I work alone, so, when a client hires me, he or she will have the peace of mind to know that I too will be the professional that will also be showing up to do the job. I've heard many horror stories by other brides who had booked with DJs that sent inexperienced replacement DJs to handle the actual job. My clients seem to really like my laid-back personality too! I'm NOT shy by any means, and will have a good time with my clients. I'll show everyone how to do the line dances if they need it, and I can handle all of the important announcements, but for the most part, I prefer to let the music speak for itself, and I'm just the guide. For the weddings, it's my belief that the Bride & Groom are the stars of the day, and I want all the attention focused on them, and NOT on an obnoxious DJ who uses the time as a broadway performance. Just sayin'
