A. Do your research! Only you know what type of entertainment will be the best fit with your event, so make sure the performer you select will fit your criteria. Look for a bellydancer with experience - an important skill for a bellydancer to possess handling a crowd professionally, and that is a skill that can only come with practice. Remember that you get what you pay for, so be sure to hire a dancer with fees in line with other professional dancers in your area.
A. It's a lot of hard work! So much goes into every performance - practice, music selection, day-of preparation - that we spend much longer than the 20 minutes we perform making sure the performance for your event is perfect.
A. -How long have you been performing professionally?
-What types of audiences have you performed for?
-Can you customize your show to fit my event?
-What length show do you recommend for my event?
A. You should consider the type of party you are having and what environment you would like to create. All of these things determine what type of show you would like to book. Are you having a formal, sit-down dinner? Then you might be interested in more of a "stage show" than an interactive performance. Is it a small venue? Then a show with less props would work best for the room you have. Is there a guest of honor? Then you will probably want to choose a show with audience participation, so that the guest of honor can become a special part of the performance. I would be happy to discuss all of these things with you to be sure that the show you are booking is the perfect show for you and your guests.
