A. Holly's Hostesses Inc., is often called upon to handle very high end elegant dinner parties, cocktail parties for an exacting clientele, which includes, celebrities from many industries. Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Unfortunately this industry is flooded with individuals passing themselves off as businesses. You as the customer must determine if you are dealing with a legitimate company. Holly's Hostesses Inc, is a legitimate business with insurance and numerous long term relationships with other notable vendors.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. what is the average age of the chefs, waitstaff and bartenders that work for you. You the customer are legally responsible for liquor served at your home or business. "The social drinking law" You always want mature responsible staff working for you. This is the most important issue when determining who to hire.
Do not determine who to hire on price alone. You do get what you pay for!
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Ask if they are a legal business, bonded or insured.
Ask about the experience of the people that work for the company.
Ask for legitimate references from other vendors.

Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. To be in the food service industry, you must love what you do. I have been serving my clients from Manhattan to Montauk for nearly 30 years. It has been a joy to create parties and events.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. When new clients call us they always start with the "price"
they often do not know what these services cost or they are looking for the cheapest cost. Of course we discuss our rates, however, I think it is more important to talk about their event to find other ways to help them save money. The staffing is not the area where you want to cut costs. Your staff is the engine that makes your party run smoothly,
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. I Holly as the owner of this enterprise have earned to Masters degrees in business and finance from a notable private university. That knowledge base is most important in running the business side of my business. In my spare time, I do take cooking and baking courses for my own enjoyment and to utilize in my business.
