- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of our employees confessed a serious medical condition the day before a client was to leave for an 18 night business and pleasure trip. After 1 night on the job, they decided to quit. Because of the redundancy we provide in terms of cross-training, we immediately substituted this person with two other parties that the client had met leaving no exposure to the client or to the furbabies they had left in our care. A smaller company or a one or two person company would never have been able to seamlessly handle this situation. The client was alerted when we made the substitution, felt good about how we had handled it and continued to enjoy a stress free trip many time zones away.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask questions, lots of them... Are you bonded? Are you insured, what kind of insurance, does it have limits, what are they? What happens if you slip and fall on my property in inclement weather? What happens if you are out sick? How do I know you've been to the home and stayed the amount of time I asked? Are your employees background checked, can I see results? Are your employees drug tested, can I see results?
