Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Make Sure the Provider is certified and have experience,If you have any concern Pease discuss it whith the Provider, There are too many People who are not certified by the E.P.A who claims to Know what they are doing. The Person who gives the estimate should be on the job untill its finished thus eliminating some whos takes the job for a price and Pay others less so they make a profit on you.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. The customer should first know what tye of finish they would like, Shiny/ Flat.e.t.c Look at the substrate to be finished and imagine what you would want it to like then discuss this with the service Professional. As a cient I will surely want to know the steps taken to make the substrate have perfet finish.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Do you Have experience? Are you certified? How long have you Been at your trade? where did you learn you trade, a lot of people do not have the right training and are unable to give the right advice to clients. Ask the service Professional the steps they will have to take to get the project done right.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Skill sets, Experience and knowledge of what needs to be done and what I will recomend, The cost factor, I always get a 10% lower price on Benjamin Moore Paints and I work with most client budget, labor can be very expensive. I am a master Painter/ Master taper, Certified by the E.P.A to work in houses that was Built before 1978 and to remove Lead Based Paint.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. As a foreman for a large painting company, I asked a fourth year apprentice to go and Paint every thing in the Kitchen in apartmen 4c, Meaning all the surfaces that was previously Primed, a few hours later I went to check if he did as was told, to my surprise he did and he also Painted refigerator and the stove lol.Never saw. him after that day.
