I've been training with Roy for just over a month and - for someone who is rather lazy about exercising - I am happy to say that I've enjoyed exercising with Roy. Roy keeps the training sessions varied, tailored to each client, and more importantly, he's constantly adapting to make it challenging for you. The best part about working with Roy is that he's not afraid to share a laugh with you and that he is patient, listening to your queries and goals, and knowing when to push you to really challenge yourself. Roy follows-up with clients after a session, which is something not everyone would do. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, professional, accessible, caring and friendly trainer with a sense of humour, I recommend Roy without a doubt.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

Growing up I always liked working out and learning new exercises to share with my friends. I still didn't think of making it a career until my my last semester of college. I started to loose interest in my major and I remembered growing up I was always encouraged to do something I love. I loved fitness/health so I finish my major and went in to get my certs towards becoming a trainer.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Major of the clients I came across are interested in getting toned/lean body, weight lost and a small few wants mass.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

People tend to confuse motivation with encouragement. you can not be motivated to do something you don't want to do. Yelling and screaming don't do much, whatever you do you must want the result of it.
