Co-founder of Backslide, I teach and choreograph Hip Hop dance. The style varies but it is usually in the theme of pop artists like Usher and Justin Timberlake.

I have been called upon to stylize a more robotic or jazzy dance for a theatre company or artist and I always deliver. Breakdancing is not my element but rather group choreography. I keep it fun, sexy, smooth, while maintaining artistic integrity.

My goal is to help hip hop dance reach its full artistic and creative potential.

Matt was excellent. He took me, with a low skill level, and customized the choreography to leave me with the confidence that I am a great dancer. I will definitely use him again.
