Puppy Training

Empire of the Dog offers group classes for puppies 18 weeks and under at an economical price.
We also offer boarding and training for basic puppy issues like housetraining and manners.
We offer private lessons for dog behavior modification and manners, including specialty classes, clicker training, frisbee, tricks and skateboarding for dogs.

  Denise has helped me tremendously with my two rescue dogs. When we first met my jack russell had serious aggression issues and was biting. Previously I was encouraged to Cesar Milan style "top dog" the dog which had only led to more severe biting. Denise's techniques helped make my fearful dog feel more secure and allowed me insight onto what his triggers which provoked aggression were. Denise was also able to point out certain sensitive areas of his body which he did not like to be touched which I had completely failed to notice. With my second dog Denise identified her breed as Basenji which I had previously been told was something else entirely. I continually am impressed by Denise's immediate understanding of animal temperament. She makes things suddenly seem so obvious that it is hard to understand how they went unrecognized before her visit. I met Denise by recommendation from another dog owner and have continually recommended her to others. She really is amazing and it has been great to rely on her for help and advice through various canine situations these past few years.
