George did a partial bathroom renovation for me and a kitchen design/build consultation. He reglazed my bathtub with great care, resulting in gleaming perfection. He also removed my old vanity and installed a new one, skillfully handling some unanticipated customization work. He sanded, patched and painted my badly neglected ceiling and walls with patient diligence, in the stages necessary to get such great results that for days I would just stand at the entrance of the bathroom to admire it. George generously shares his knowledge which includes impressive technical expertise on a wide range of home improvement projects, and gave me many thoughtful design ideas for the kitchen, at different price points to accommodate changing budget constraints. He listens carefully, is very respectful of personal property, and takes care to tidy up at the end of each day and minimize the intrusive nature of construction work. I am a detail oriented person, and feel very fortunate to have found a contractor with such high professional standards and dedication to customer satisfaction. And he likes dogs!

Outstanding!
We had a wonderful experience hiring George for a bathroom remodel.
We wanted to use a specific material on a wall (skimstone or milestone - some sort of waxed concrete applied like venitian) that required testing and research.
George did a wonderful and thorough job. He called the supplier, was extremely patient and took the time to care for every detail. He went way beyond what could be expected.
The result is great!
I am very happy and strongly recommend him.

As new apartment homeowners, George made our first experience working with a contractor an absolute pleasure. First of all, he was incredibly prompt and responsive via all means of communication (email, text, phone). We recently moved to Brooklyn and found it helpful that he was close by. Our timeline was aggressive for sanding/refinishing floors + painting our entire apartment and he delivered on schedule - even with a paint color change. The work was outstanding and looked great. We cannot say enough good things about his professionalism, creativity and attention to detail. We look forward to using him for several other projects in our new home!
