I am currently taking students who would like to learn to play guitar through the lens of songwriting.
We will focus on the construction of melody, the importance of chord structure and how integrating the appropriate tempo can change the substance of song craft. My goal is to help my students utilize tools to create and hone their voice, while learning and improving their guitar playing.
I have songs placed in a variety of media platforms including: Grey's Anatomy, House, Laguna Beach, etc. Live performances include 10+ North American tours, multiple festivals, support slots for bands like The Smashing Pumpkins, Interpol, Modest Mouse and late night television appearances like Conan O'Brien.
