About Annie:

Annie Lynch is a professional vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, performer, recording artist, and educator from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She has been studying voice formally since she was nine years old, and guitar since she was twelve.

Annie began writing music at the age of thirteen, and performed in the greater Boston area's acoustic music scene shortly there after. In 2008, she graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston with a Bachelor's degree in Music. Her focus was on voice and world music.

Annie's musical experiences have ranged from bluegrass jams in Nashville to a month of intensive studies of traditional West African music in Ghana, West Africa. She leads the internationally touring Americana group, Annie and The Beekeepers, as well as her own solo project, and has performed at such notable festivals as South By South West, Philadelphia Folk Festival, Boston Folk Festival, England's End of the Road, NYC's CMJ, Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion, and more.

Annie has been teaching guitar and voice lessons for over six years to students of all experience levels and walks of life, from ages four to seventy-six. Additionally, she has experience teaching group music classes to children, ages birth through five, in a daycare setting, and through Music for Aardvarks.

Annie offers a nurturing, individual-based approach to private instruction, while encouraging all students to experiment with genre, and explore some fundamental ear training and music theory as a part of their musical practice.
