He was completely transparent about what he could and couldn’t do, which helped me scope the project. He even came out in the rain to get the project done on the outside of my house!!! Would definitely recommend.

We had a great experience working with Ivan, he was quick to respond, quick to execute and his work was great quality. He did a really tough job precisely and cheerfully- in the pouring rain too, unfortunately! There was a language barrier but we quickly overcame it with a translation app, if Russian is not in your vocab be ready to do the same. I look forward to hiring him again for future projects.

Details: Installation only • Exterior of property - second floor • No, I will provide the lights myself • Less than 1,000 sq ft • Commercial

I wish I could pick all 5. Ivan came right on time and understood exactly what I wanted. He wasted no time to promptly build everything and he was very quick considering how many pieces of furniture he had to build. I would definitely recommend Ivan as he charges fair prices and he cleans up after himself. Truly high quality work from him.

Details: 6 items • Dresser • Bed frame • Desk or table • Chair • Couch • Shelves • Yes, I have assembly instructions or make and model information • No additional services needed

First, Ivan's profile should include the fact that he doesn't speak English. He communicated in Russian using Google Translate, limiting our communication regarding the tasks I had planned for him to work on. Second, I found his price extreme, but since I had to pay him a deposit of $150 for an in-person estimate of the task he would be working on, I felt obligated to hire him. I hired him to put vinyl tiles on a tiny kitchen floor. I hate that he left the tiles and the nearby wood floor (dining area) sticky with excess adhesive. Now, I have to purchase Goo Gone to remove the adhesive. I also didn't appreciate him trying to leave the job incomplete. When I looked through the visible small space where the stove and refrigerator were, I saw that more than two tiles were missing in each area. I told him to please complete the job. I had purchased plenty of tiles, so the entire floor, including the stove and refrigerator area, would get new tiles. Ivan later lied and told me he had covered the whole area with tiles. I took a peek and saw tiles to the left and right corners. I never imagined that Ivan would leave untiled the area that I couldn't see without moving the appliances. It wasn't until after he left and before sitting down to write this review that I moved the refrigerator and stove to double-check. I'm very disappointed with Ivan. I paid way too much ($450) to receive an unsatisfactory job. The first two pictures show the two areas where the tiles are missing. Additional photos show open space between tiles, uneven tiles, and poorly cut tiles. I only took one picture to show each problem. There were a lot more with the same issue. The last pic is of the kitchen. To give you an idea of the size of the kitchen, I measured it with my feet (size 8). There are ten steps from the beginning of the kitchen entrance to the yellow wall. I feel awful about sharing this less-than-great review, but Ivan insisted. Above is my honest review.
