Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. My advice in choosing a headshot photographer is to look at a lot of photos and pick the one who's photographs you like! Price & reputation won't mean a thing if you don't like your photos and feel good about sending them out. Ask your friends for their favorite headshot photographer or if you see a headshot you like, ask the actor who shot it.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. The thing to know about headshot photography is that EVERYONE is a little camera-shy. This is one of the reasons I shoot outdoors. In addition to beautiful natural light, being outdoors allows the camera subject to "pose" more naturally and feel more FREE to move around. Being yourself; in clothing, make-up/hair, & mannerisms is the best way to ensure not only a natural headshot but one that LOOKS like YOU!

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. The very first step to starting a career in either acting or modeling is to acquire a good (hopefully GREAT) headshot. So, all you need is the desire to pursue this industry. An actor's headshot or a model's comp card is the equivalent of a business card for ANY profession or business. If you are serious about starting your career in the film, theatre, dance, or music industries - you cannot avoid getting photos done. Many people choose to let their friends take photos, which can work fine depending on the friend's photography skills, but in most cases it's worth it to hire a pro.
