My advice in choosing a headshot photographer is to look at a lot of photographer's websites and pick the one whose photographs you like! Price & reputation won't mean a thing if you don't like your photos and feel good about sending them out. Ask your friends for their favorite headshot photographer or if you see a headshot you like, ask the actor who shot it.
