Introduction: The Mission Martial Arts Academy is Pat Natoli's offspring, born and raised in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn and a student of the martial arts since age 12. Although Pat (the head instructor) started his teaching at Fordham Universities Lincoln Center Campus, and his Tae Kwon Do education began in Brooklyn in around 1989. After accumulating 11 years of experience teaching in both Brooklyn and Manhattan, as well as observing a necessity for exceptional instruction.In the exact neighborhood where their experience first began, The Mission was born. the Mission Martial Arts Academy has opened its doors early September of 2006, located at 517 Henry Street in the heart of Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. This 600-square-feet studio is equipped with a mirrored practice area with a bamboo hardwood floor, floor mats for acrobatics, 2 hung heavy bags, as well as various assorted punching and kicking pads for students to use. Although designed specifically for the necessities of a Tae Kwon Do student in mind, The Mission has turned into a home of several other martial arts lessons, taught by excellent teachers. Although Tae Kwon Do will continually be the central art of the school, regardless of what is studied inside these walls, The Mission Martial Arts is devoted to the finest quality of martial arts education, while always providing a positive experience and a healthy learning environment.
