MY SERVICES include… • ISEE + SAT/ACT test prep • Personal statement & essay consultant for college applications • Long-term academic mentorship & private English/Math tutoring BEYOND MY STATS… • 2380 out of 2400 SAT, perfect reading + writing scores • Early action & 3.84 GPA @ Princeton University • English major & Senior Thesis Prize Winner • 10+ years experience all-around SAT/ACT & Common App expert • Excellent communicator & inspiring mentor 👩‍🏫 MY TEACHING STYLE ⚡️☀️ • Student-centered • Process-oriented • Warm & direct • Engaging and efficient • Intuitive, empathetic and incisive I am fairly straightforward. There is no magic secret to success. Our habits, patterns & behaviors are either supporting our growth or getting in the way. I work with my students very closely as we hold up a mirror to their current habits and assumptions. My student naturally becomes much more invested and curious in the experience of taking the test. They develop a strong toolkit, internal and external resources, that often massively accelerates and deepens their learning process. This work that we do often produces excellent results and always produces more independent, process-oriented, and resilient learners. IN EVERY SESSION... I work by asking questions. I ask my student to take accountability from the very beginning with me, by articulating for themselves their process of answering the test questions. I listen very carefully and depending on what I hear, I may give them direct feedback, invite them to observe my personal step-by-step process, provide them with necessary formulas/rules, and field any questions they have. I help my students refine their way of thinking and working with themselves. After every single question, I will ask you: What surprised you here? What did you learn from this question that you can bring forward with you? I meet every student where they are and I listen as often and as intentionally as I speak. I require that students commit to taking a full practice test every 2 weeks. Progress comes one milestone at a time. As a teacher, I value accountability, curiosity, and the process. What I have observed is that people get very scared and dismissive when I start to talk about the process of learning. They start to think that process and product — the score that you want — are mutually exclusive. This is not true. As a lifelong learner, I have found that focusing and slowing down to observe my own process of learning has helped me grow more quickly and effectively. By letting go of what I think I need, I give myself space to actually get there. I am very transparent and easy to work with. My time is valuable and so is yours! 📖 What book am I reading this month? Culture Map by Erin Meyer ✅📈📊SEE REVIEWS & PHOTOS FOR MY RESULTS Some brief examples of my success: My student, Rohan, scored 200 points higher on the SAT after working with me for 30 days, right in time for EA/ED deadlines. My student, Lily, scored 100 points higher on the math section after working with me for one month and broke into the 1300s so she could get into her dream school, University of Denver. My student, Jackson, scored a 34 in English on the ACT out of 36. My student, Isabella, scored a perfect 36 on English, and she had special accommodations for her dyslexia. My student, Brianna, spent 4 hours with me and raised her reading and writing score from a 740 to a 770, superscoring to a 1570. My all-around students — on average — score 150 points higher on the SAT after 6-8 sessions with me. Students who have committed to a weekly program have seen increases of 250+ points. My last ACT student was dyslexic (her superpower) and scored a 36 on her ACT English and a 34 on her ACT Writing. 📚TEST PREP JOURNEY📚 I PROVIDE… • completely personalized curriculum based off a diagnostic test + teaching approach (all students learn differently & I am a pro at communicating the way my student needs in order to learn.) • unique & specific strategies, tips & tricks that helped me ace the test — my teaching is NOT just a regurgitation of the generalized recommendations from Princeton Review, etc (if you know, you know!) • all real testing materials & personalized homework assignments ⭐️ COLLEGE COUNSELING ⭐️ • I help my student craft memorable and unique personal statements and supplemental essays. • I do NOT help with school selection. HOW SESSIONS WORK • I offer 60 and 90-minute sessions. For test prep, 90-minute sessions twice a week (in addition to committed study time on their own) is the optimal blend of focus and content. REFERRAL POLICY • If you successfully refer another student to me (3+ sessions), you get your next session for FREE! THANKS FOR STOPPING BY! Reach out today to set up your first session with me.

Working with Jasmine on SAT preparation was an amazingly rewarding experience for my son. She worked hand-in-hand with him to identify and target specific improvement points. The customized study plan they crafted together was a perfect match for his learning style. Jasmine's approach was comprehensive and effective. She focused on strategic learning and a detailed analysis of how he answered questions. In addition, she taught him how to manage his time and energy effectively during the test, which made a huge difference as the test day drew closer. The payoff was excellent : my son improved his scores by 200 points! This is a clear reflection of her tutoring skills and dedication to her students. I'm immensely thankful to Jasmine for her commitment to my son's test performance and the outstanding results have set him up for success on his college application journey.

We have loved working with Jasmine. Marena scored a 1530 in October after a 1300 on her PSAT last year. She is a ball of stress with high standards for her academics. I knew that we'd have to find a solid tutor for her to manage the process. M. came out of her first session with Jasmine in June and I didn't hear a peep!! Usually she has something to complain about. When I asked her how it went, she started talking to me about her learning "process." Music to my ears.. M. is more confident in herself after working with Jasmine this summer and we feel more comfortable going into college application season. Jasmine is that extra special, supremely competent, and adaptable tutor that l've raved about to all my girlfriends.

Jas was absolutely amazing to work with, she had so much patience with me and made sure to check in with me to make sure i understood everything, she helped me believe in myself when it came to one of my least favorite subjects and actually enjoy it! her way of explaining things is so broken down and clear i understood everything so well!

My name is Shannon and I have a 17 year old HS junior named Nell. Nell has been working with Jasmine for a couple months on SAT tutoring 2/week, 90 minutes each time. We have absolutely love Jasmine. As a mom, I have enjoyed hearing the interaction between Jasmine and Nell. My daughter has anxiety and doesn’t easily take to people. After one session, Nell was hooked and I was relieved. They work hard together, they laugh and Nell has learned so much. She wants Jasmine to work with her through college because she has built a true connection with her. Nell even took a couple sessions to focus on Trigonometry. Jasmine switched gears and helped her thru an upcoming test. She has been worth every penny. I honestly believe if she lived in SC we would have her over for dinner and to hang out. She is incredible. I HIGHLY recommend Jasmine to anyone looking for a very smart, genuine, patient, empathetic and energetic tutor. She has been super accommodating with our very busy academic/athletic schedule. I appreciate her so much and value the connection she has made with my child. She is a gem. I look forward to seeing what Nell’s SAT score will be.
