Introduction: I may be the world’s biggest cheerleader for making music. I play piano, organ and violin. I play all day every day. I make my living playing music. I make music in my spare time and have since I was a small child. I think everyone should make music and I want everyone to love it just as much as I do. This probably explains why I love teaching other people. I share my love of music by providing group and individual training. I’m classically trained but use modern concepts to help each student meet his or her goals. I ensure that eager beginners know the fundamentals and more advanced students are challenged appropriately--- from there, anything is possible: the journey is different for everyone and I am happy to accommodate each path. And along the way, in addition to teaching you to play your chosen instrument, I’ll teach you many things about how music is made to deepen your appreciation for your new skills. Any opportunity to enrich someone’s life with music is a golden opportunity for me.
