Introduction: I am new to the professional world of organizing/decluttering but I have been doing it for my friends and family my entire life! I have a gift for seeing the potential that spaces have to offer. And I love seeing that potential be fulfilled! I will help get rid of excess clutter (clothes, kitchen items, food, furniture etc.), help with a move, reorganize a bedroom, a kitchen, an office, a closet, drawers, the fridge, papers, book cases, storage units, whatever you need! I'll help you figure out how to move forward with your vision for your space and we will work on fulfilling it no matter how crazy or ordinary it seems! I am patient and non-judgemental. I don't care how messy your place is (the messier the better honestly). I will never shame you! I will only uplift! Since this line of work can be personal, I offer a free consultation so we can understand if we want to work together or not. Through FaceTime or pictures, you can show me what needs organizing/decluttering and we can set up a plan. I am a natural problem solver and like to rely on creative solutions to organize with the items people already have in their spaces, rather than buying new ones. Please contact me with any questions! I very much enjoyed having Muriel help me out with my library collection. There were a lot of books and (possibly thousands) and she handled and organized them calmly and methodically. I would recommend Muriel to others who need help decluttering and organizing their home or belongings. Muriel is trustworthy and a very pleasant professional.

Working with Muriel was amazing. If you’re anything like me and just the thought of home organizing gives you anxiety, you cannot find a better person to work with than Muriel. First, off she’s so excited by turning chaos into order, and it’s inspiring to see someone so passionate about something that is a normally daunting task. First off, she’s super creative in her approach to organizing, often using things you already have. Two, Muriel is really fun to talk to and a pleasure to work with (it’s a team sport!) We focused on my closet, kitchen, and bathroom. Formerly full of junk and boxes, now all in order! Whenever I’d say, “I think I need to keep that!” she would always joke, “for now!” — by the end, I realized that she was mostly right, and I’d come to peace with parting with things I *thought* I needed. This is one of those experiences that you don’t realize how much better your day-to-day life is until you work with someone that can really optimize your space (at a very reasonable price). Plus, she was so helpful with donating my extra clothes and suit. I’ve already referred Muriel to friends, and I hope to work with her again!

From our initial FaceTime consultation, I knew Muriel was the perfect partner to help me with my organizational tasks. Attentive, empathic, and super personable, Muriel laid out a plan for us to tackle my studio apartment that had turned into a glorified storage unit. Something I loved about working with Muriel is that she always made sure to gauge my comfort level in the process. I could be as hands on or as hands off as I wanted to be in the process. We found a healthy medium where I was able to contribute to clearly defined tasks thanks to her methodology. As someone who is filled with dread and anxiety, to the point of immobility, when it comes to tasks like this… she acted as both a trusted professional partner and provided me the comfort as a non-judgmental and affirming friend. Muriel’s services are no far from magic. She has helped me pair down, organize my space, and even figure our out how to settle my things into a new apartment. She is incredibly skilled, diligent, and creative about optimizing space. Each time, she’s left my space feeling and looking SO much better. And this is coming from a recovering pac-rat! Not to mention, she is an absolute delight. I highly recommend her services, for any of your organizational needs!

Muriel was an absolute delight to have in our home! We desperately needed help sorting through an array of closets, cabinets, and under sink areas that hadn’t been touched in over three years. My roommates and I didn’t have the discipline to go through it ourselves so we made the choice to look for someone to complete the task on our behalf. We looked into three other ads all of whom were charging almost twice what Muriel was offering. She sorted through our items taking the time to go through bags and pockets making sure she got all those left over items (chapsticks, cough drops, old receipts, etc) in toe bags and found correct places for them in our house. What we really appreciated was she took into consideration our lifestyle and placed things accordingly to make it easy for us to maintain her work as we continue with our lives.
