- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Due to my relationship with retailers, my clients often receive discounts at the stores we shop at. I also offer discounted packages when clients buy several services at once.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process typically begins with a client questionnaire which I have all my new clients fill out before meeting. This gives me a glimpse into their current style. Then we discuss this when we meet for our initial consultation, whether it be in person or over the phone. During a Closet Consultation we will go over a client’s desired and current style while walking through their wardrobe. We will purge items if necessary and discuss what we should add. After a consultation, I create a Personal Style Plan for each client outlining the items I recommend adding as well as some style inspiration and tips. From there we usually shop together , or I shop for them delivering everything to their home. I pull everything ahead of time so it is ready for us to try. Shopping trips usually range from 2-5 hours depending on a client’s needs. Many clients follow up this service with a Style Session back at home. I show them how to put together outfits combining their pre-existing wardrobe with their new pieces.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a fashion and accessories editor for 10+ years working at major fashion publications including Marie Claire, MORE and CosmoGIRL. This gave me a thorough knowledge of the accessory and clothing brands out there for every price point and style.
