Introduction: Background info about John David Thomas.
I do freelance photography on-location. I'm a lifelong photographer, genius photographer and "arts" man. I'm a member of Mensa (IQ in top 2 percent of USA) and ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) since 1974.
I attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana from 1969-1971 on a full academic scholarship, a General Motors scholarship, one of the top scholarships in the USA, with a B average.
I then transferred to Ball State U. in Muncie, Indiana from 1971-1974 (3 more years of college) and graduated in 1976 with a B.S. degree in music theory and composition, studying theory, composition, electronic music, cello and piano with several music geniuses.
I also took a course in college level photography and met famous geniuses in the arts including "Christo", who was written about in Time magazine arts column while I was at Ball State, who was very happy to meet me there in a reception (He did conceptual art like the "Hanging Valley Curtain" and "The Running Fence").
I also met Bob Moog, inventor of the famous Moog synthesizer, and inventor of all synthesizers, period. He seemed happy that I attended the special luncheon for him and that I came to see him.
As far as services I offer, I will do just about anything that is legal and that does not "get me in trouble" with my limited equipment at present.
I have a fantastic camera, a Nikon D60, 10 MP, with interchangeable lenses. I only have the standard zoom lens at present, which goes from standard wide angle zoom to moderate telephoto. It has "noise reduction" in it and a decent top-mounted flash.
If I start making decent money, I will buy more photo gear. I have done weddings, sports (race cars, basketball, football, etc.), industrial, scenic (all over USA and Canada), events, candid portraits, musicians, concerts, rock stars (up close and personal) and more.
