Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Be extremely selective when choosing the right artist for yourself. Take your time viewing the artists work and spend some time talking to the artist to see if he or she has the right attitude and vibe that you are looking for. Although there are many great artists out there some might not have the right type of patience to make your specific piece work for you.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Healing a tattoo is just as an important process as receiving one. You must make sure you follow the directions that your artist gives you. Also, before getting a tattoo make sure that you are n a full stomach and are hydrated. It is not a good idea to get drunk or high before receiving a tattoo because this lowers your tolerance, makes you jittery, and lowers your blood sugar which is needed whenever your body is dealing with pain in any form.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. How long have you been in business?
Where did you receive your training?
Have you ever had a problem with a client?
Has any of your clients ever been unsatisfied with your services?
What are your hourly rates?
Do you offer any discounts or special offers?
