Introduction: I love standardized tests! To me, they are like crossword puzzles or Suduko (to other people....ironically, I hate crossword puzzles). I love hacking my way through a really tricky LSAT problem or Math problem.
I'm passionate about helping teenagers. I had a rough time in high school (possibly because I love standardized test prep?). I was confused and disorganized and late late late. I turned it around for myself in college, but I still have enormous empathy for kids who are struggling, and my empathy breeds patience. I love working with teenagers.
It would be hard for me to say whether I like the kids more or the puzzle like nature of tests more. Some days, I can't wait to get to work because I know how much I'm going to help a kid. Some days, I know I'm going to get to prepare some crazy hard function problems and I look forward to working alone for a few hours. It would be hard to say.
