Introduction: I believe a wedding ceremony is a very special moment in our lives, so I like to provide a customized experience; one that you will cherish and look fondly back on. I will work with you to design your wedding ceremony, and reception, to be as individual and personal as you wish, and can also assist in the event planning, including helping write meaningful vows for the special day, and guiding you through the marriage application process. As a native from Brooklyn, I know my way around the city and will be able to guide you if you are from out of town and need suggestions for a venue. I am a big romantic and what's more romantic than watching two people pledge their love and commit their lives to one another. As an officiant I get to make it official and I love being a part of that. As a planner I get to help make everything come together by making the couple's vision become a reality.

Cindy was absolutely amazing, professional and flexible. Our wedding was a destination wedding so it was important that we had someone who was flexible and reliable with communication. She started by sending a few options for us to read for the ceremony. It was easy to pick the one right for us because I cryed it was so beautiful. Next we spoke over the phone to go over everything. We did not even have the venue until the day before our wedding and Cindy was so calm. Finally our wedding day she was on time, prepared and wonderful. We got married at The Terrace Club over looking Rockafeller Center. I would highly recommend Cindy to anyone and especialy if you are doing a destination wedding. She made our day even more special!

My now-husband and I were very happy with Cindy's services at Happily Ever Blissful. After our venue abruptly closed (reBar in DUMBO), costing us $10,000, we decided to scrap our original wedding plans and have a wedding with just family. My family lives out of state, so we had to find a time when everyone could be there. That time turned out to be a week and a half in the future. I asked around for recommendations and Cindy was one of the first we got. She was quick to respond to my initial e-mail - it was actually faster than I expected - and was always very responsive and quick. Getting the contract signed and paid was very easy (we were able to use Chase QuickPay, which I LOVE). We signed the contract and answered a few questions late Friday and had a draft of the script by early Saturday afternoon. It was amazing. Cindy also took the initiative to set up a meeting with us before finalizing the ceremony script. Normally we would've wanted to meet before signing a contract, but it was such a rush that we just needed to find an officiant. It was a relief that we still got to meet with her before the wedding day and it helped to personalize the ceremony (she made the suggestion of doing a ring warming, which worked well for us). Cindy also speaks Spanish, which was fantastic, because my grandmothers don't speak English. She was incredibly flexible in figuring out which parts to do in both English and Spanish. She also gave us some great inspiration for writing our vows. On the day of the wedding, Cindy was on time, dressed professionally, and did an amazing job. We had a ceremony that was beautiful, personal, and certainly didn't feel like it had been put together as quickly as it was. I've already recommended her to others and will continue to do so. If you need an officiant, look no further!

We initially hired Cindy for our elopement ceremony and then again for our big day, and she made both of our wedding ceremonies truly special. From the moment we read her profile when we began looking for an officiant something felt right. After we met her for the first time we felt there was a genuine quality in Cindy and her work. We loved reading the scripts that she sent for both of our days. They were put together so well and fit each of the settings and moments so perfectly. After each event we received wonderful compliments about Cindy, how enjoyable her readings were, and how peaceful she made the moments. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received a Bachelor of Arts from The Advertising & Public Relations Program of the Media & Communication Arts Department at City College in 2001. I specialized and excelled in Event Planning. I focused on weddings, since I love seeing people happy and in love. I am a Certified Wedding Planner through the the renowned Bridal Society.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked at PR firm doing event planning, but I longed to be surrounded by happiness and love. So a few years ago, when my cousin asked me to help him plan his wedding to his long-time partner, it was kismet. I became ordained and a registered officiant in New York City, as a wedding gift to them. I've been planning and presiding over weddings ever since.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you sign a contract. I am appalled by how many couples call me last minute because they are unable to get in touch with their officiant in the the weeks leading up to the wedding, or worse a no-show the day of the ceremony.
