It was such a pleasure working with Mcguyvtini coq for my wedding. He took the time to listen to my concerns and vision, also gave his honest feedback when I was in doubt on some decisions throughout the whole process he made himself available via phone calls, text, zoom meetings and time put aside to meet up with me when needed to visit my venue. Both my husband and I were very pleased with his attention to details which made a big difference. Also willing to stay overnight the night as late as needed the night before our wedding at the hotel to make sure I was happy and comfortable on everything. I am the type of person who is use to being in control of everything in my left, he made it easy for me to trust in his process and work. Mac was the day of coordinator for my wedding, but his help was felt way before the day of. He touched base and helped to keep me organized and on track in the months leading up my wedding day. On the wedding day, he kept everything running smoothly and addressed any problems that occurred immediately and professionally. He was helpful, detail oriented and always available when needed. I did a DIY wedding and he set up and broke down the event, and always communicated to make sure my vision came to life. He was a great help on our special day.

It was a real pleasure working with Mac on our wedding one week ago (August 2023)! His advice was so helpful as we put together plans in the weeks leading up to the big day, and he had some helpful questions for us to think about as our plans came together. Where Mac and his team really shone was during the week of the event and on the wedding day itself. He made himself available to do a venue walkthrough with us a few days before the ceremony and got a solid grasp of all the details of the plan, including vendor logistics, decoration, and food. He also has a kind and fun vibe! It was actually fun workshopping parts of our plan with him, and having him quarterback things helped get our stress under control. His team is super creative, and they were able to implement our plan with a few creative elevations/embellishments. We had leftover baby's breath. They put it to use! We forgot coffee-making equipment. They improvised a solution! Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without Mac's ability to think on his feet, understand the vision, and connect with what we and our guests needed in real time. Couldn't have done this without him!

We are so, so grateful to have had Mac and his team on the day of our wedding. My husband and I planned a DIY wedding in Brooklyn/Ridgewood and we were initially unsure about having a day-of coordinator. From the advice of the internet and friends, we decided that it would bring a lot of value to have somebody running the show so that we could enjoy the day. I cannot overstate how essential Mac and his team were to making our wedding run smoothly. As soon as we hired Mac, he made it clear that we could contact him whenever to ask questions or discuss logistics. He really helped us out so much a month out from the wedding. He did a walk through of the venue with us, double checked the schedule, made suggestions, and was accommodating to what we wanted to do. Personally, as the bride, I didn’t have to think about the schedule at all when the event started. It just naturally felt like everything was on track. We had a group of friends help set up the wedding, but Mac’s team also helped us set up the tables and decor items. They also made sure to get all the guests to write us messages and take instax pictures. Mac made sure tables got called appropriately so that the buffet tables never got swamped. Also, he made sure my husband and I always had a drink if we wanted it. He worked so well with both the caterers and venue personnel. We felt so lucky to have him and many of our friends who were involved in the wedding mentioned how great he was. We can’t recommend him enough!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Though i do have sent prices. At times I do work with my client depending on their budget. Also my fees are seperate from the vendor fees when I am planning a wedding. But with that noted I do not charge too much either. What I am for is to help the couple spend in a way that they will enjoy and not regret, because what truely matters to me more is seeing my client happy and joyful on thier big day.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to call my client at first to get a sense of who they are and what they would like thier day to turn out to. I like to hear all the questions and ideas they have even if they are not concrete ideas yet. That way I can work together with them and chisel away what is not needed or advise them to a better option/choice. They I proceed to explain on how I work and what my services offer. 99% of the time, by the time I done speaking with my client they feel more relaxed and at ease.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a lot of training in planning. As I mentioned before I been watching and learning from my mother on how she planned and coordinated weddings. 9 years ago I started planning parties myself to full success. as of 4 years ago I started planning and coordinated wedding. planning is something I just love to do. I love seeing how everything just comes together so well.
