Sheba Michel

Need help teaching your child reading, writing, math, science, or social studies? Shéba is the person to call. Shéba is currently a first grade teacher at the fifth hardest charter school to get into in NYC. She also taught at The Packer Collegiate Institute. She has 4 years of experience teaching in early childhood, as well as experience tutoring children as old as 11 years old. She received bachelor's degrees in early childhood education, early childhood special education, and psychology at New York University. She then went on to Teachers College, Columbia University, where she studied psychology in education. Given her special education training and experience, she is skilled at finding various ways to teach children based on their individual needs. She is also experienced in helping children to become more organized. Most children regress academically during the summer months. Shéba is available throughout August & possibly 1-2 days/week during the school year to tutor your child in reading, writing, math, and/or french.
