Tomas Bell has been my Pilates instructor at Life Health and Fitness for the past 5 years. (Prior to that, I also took Urban Rebounding with him). Tomas is professional, yet makes class participants feel at ease with him. He is conscientious about ensuring safe and appropriate form/technique without being intrusive. He clearly loves what he does, thus inspiring his students to love Pilates and to love him (his classes are always full). Tomas designs classes that are varied and challenging but always fun, and his music selection cannot be beaten. Personally, I have developed much improved core strength, balance, and flexibility with Tomas' guidance. He is able to provide expert individualized attention in the context of a group class. I cannot think of anyone I would rather take any class with than Tomas Bell. As an aside, I think he would also be an ideal personal trainer.

Tomas is my favorite pilates teacher. He makes class fun, doesn't sugarcoat the difficulties and has a level of difficulty that produces results. I would highly recommend Tomas!

Tomas is the best Pilates instructor I've ever had. His positive energy is contagious and inspirational; he always has new, amazing, creative, tough sequences; and he always looks out for every person in the room and his/her unique body (I have scoliosis and he makes it a point to let me know variations or what I should be careful doing). Tomas has helped me transform my body, my mood and my life. Best instructor in NYC, hands down.

I've been taking Tomas' mat pilates class for years now and I'm a stronger and happier person for it. He's the perfect balance of professionalism and levity and is able to adjust his classes to meet the needs of his novices and more experienced folks. I'd recommend him to anyone looking to push themselves further than they thought they could go because he will be there to make sure you succeed!

Tomas is a great personal trainer. I've been working with him for 3 years. He understands my schedule and makes sure that we make the most out of our sessions. He's iintelligent, funny and creative in his workouts. Even though my schedule only allows me to train with him once a week I still see results.
