I am Nicholas Plant, a thirty year old West Seneca, NY resident.
At the age of thirteen, I began playing drums and was instructed by Greg Grzankowski at Edwin's Music Store in Buffalo, NY. For three years, Greg taught me the basics of rock drumming, where I obtained a great appreciation for the drum kit dynamics.
I decided to share my knowledge with others, when I was twenty years old, when, through a friend, a chance came along. After working with a variety of local artists and being in numerous local bands, I have been able to spend numerous hours behind the drum kit, my favorite environment.
For over eight years, I have been teaching Western New York drummers and am eager to continue educating for many years ahead.

My son started lessons with Nick 4 years ago. Nick has instilled a love of music in my son. He looks forward to his drum lessons every week and wants to be a "drummer" like his teacher when he grows up. Nick is always kind, patient and encouraging. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in playing drums.

A. You want to look for an instructor that understands every student learns differently and at their own pace. I make sure that the student is absorbing all of the lesson material through their best learning style and at a pace that best suits them.
A. I try to make my lessons fun. Since I focus my teaching techniques on the fundamentals I always try to keep things fresh and fun for my students. I always try to apply the things that we are working on to benefit my students particular playing style.
A. What I like most about being an instructor is being able to share my skills with others and being able to share the experience of a student learning a new skill and mastering it. It truly is rewarding to be able to teach someone a new groove, song, or skill that makes them better at their instrument.
A. When an opportunity came along through my friend Larry Denef at Crossroads Music Center in Williamsville, NY. Larry saw an ad that I posted on a local online music message board and contacted me about coming to the store to be the drum instructor.
