Introduction: Once upon a time, Pythagoras heard the most beautiful sound imaginable coming from a blacksmith’s shop. He went in to find the source - when 5 blacksmiths struck their hammers in unison. He studied the hammers and found that 4 of the hammers were related by the ratio of their weight, but the fifth hammer was not related to the others at all. Although Pythagoras initially ignored the fifth hammer, he eventually realized that the uniqueness of the fifth hammer was the key to the beautiful sound. At Fifth Hammer Construction, we’re pretty different too!
