Roscoe's Refuge

Introduction: I went to college for professional dog training. I studied a very indepth course load and passed many tests to achieve my certification. I also did a 4 month externship with an ABC certified mentor who I trained and learned under. I was a lead trainer and Area trainer with Petsmart for over a year, which also included kennel work, as I worked for a Petshotel store, while living in Virginia Beach, VA. As an area trainer, I mentored and trained associates to become Petsmart trainers and I also over saw the entire districts dog training departments, offering help and advice when needed. I focus on positive reinforcement dog training, but I also have a background in compulsional dog training as well. I am a very open minded trainer. I focus on doing what is both best and comfortable for both my client and most importantly, their dog. I think education is key. I educate my clients on how dogs think and act. I love dogs. I love how sincere, pure and loving they are. They always accept and love their owners, no matter what. They truly are the most selfless beings on this earth.
