I would highly recommend John for any architectural project. John was creative, collaborative, and thorough in every interaction. I hired John Power from a group of seven architects to design an addition for a new bathroom to my home. I never regretted my decision and was extremely happy that I chose him. From the start of the project, John proved himself knowledgeable and a true professional. He listened intently to my plans and improved upon my ideas, taking them to another level. John utilized the space efficiently, designing not only a bathroom but a deck and dining porch as well. I was a complete novice at the initiation of this project, but John connected to my ideas. He explained everything from soup to nuts and delivered a project that is aesthetically beautiful and functional as well. One of his many qualities is attention to details. This was exhibited by the numerous times he visited the work site more than he was contracted for. He would instruct the contractors ensuring that his plans were executed as shown on the blueprint. It was a pleasure working with John. He was friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend him.

John, was a great Architect to work with. He is flexible, good listener and provides good feed back to suggestions. His fees are very reasonable for the amount of knowledge he brings to table. We are not the easiest couple to work with, my husband and I are both engineers and ofcourse we have strong opinions :) but John's gentle manner, knowledge and good disposition, won us over. End result, we have a beautiful remodeled home which we loved, Thanks to John.

Fees are based on a percentage of the budget estimate. The percentage is based on the complexity and amount of budget expectations. Percentages range from 10% for smaller jobs to 4% for the larger projects.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial 1-2 hour consultation free of charge. Proposal for services to follow within one week. Different projects can take a few days till a few years to complete depending on complexity, scale, financing and contractor availability.
