I had recently had shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum. After weeks of rehab my range of motion was improving but I was still experiencing a lot of pain. I decided to try acupuncture and after a few sessions with Heather at Pagoda Acupuncture, the pain was much better and my range of motion improved substantially. Along with the shoulder pain, I was also experiencing some discomfort in my neck. Heather provided relief for my neck pain as well. I highly recommend Heather and Pagoda Acupuncture.

Heather at Pagoda Acupuncutre & Herbal Healing Center treated a painful shoulder condition with acupunture and cupping so well that I consider it cured, since I've been pain-free in that area for almost a year. I required 5 treatments. I am now back in her care for neck pain, The treatments are exremely relaxing and make a big diffrence in how I feel. I've already referred two people to Heather at Pagoda, and both have been pleased with their results and Heather's warmth. Highly recommend.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I accept major medical, no fault and workman's compensation insurance. I offer discounts when necessary. I prefer to help someone rather than turn them away simply because they cannot afford the service and do not have insurance.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will typically spend 15 to 30 min the first session discussing their health history and any of their concerns. After which I bring them to the room to change and prepare for treatment. Expect to spend 1.5 hours with me the first treatment and 1 hour for any follow up treatments.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Master's in Oriental Medicine which means I am a NYS licensed Acupuncturist and Certified Chinese Herbalist. Over the past 14 years I have continued my studies and am proficient in many different styles and techniques.
