I am a certified life coach with a thriving practice in Long Island, NY, and I 'see' most clients over the phone.
My clients are located throughout the world and range from entrepreneurs to professionals in Fortune 500 companies. They are individuals who either choose to make minor improvements in their current positions or those wishing to make radical adjustments in their lives.
What I hear most from my clients is how surprised they are with the changes that they are able to make in such a relatively short period of time working with me. I've been told by several different clients that coaching with me has been more helpful and made more of an impact on their lives than anything else they've tried, including therapy and counseling.
With that said, I am not a therapist or a counselor and do not claim to have their skills or use their methods. Simply stated, I serve as an accountability partner for individuals seeking permanent change at a rapid rate.
Please contact me for further information or to schedule a free consultation.
Thank you.
Coach Michael
A. I recommend doing a lot of research when deciding on a personal or professional coach and always hiring a certified coach. Because coaching is currently unregulated, there are many individuals calling themselves coaches who are not certified, are not properly trained and who simply should not be coaching people. Always ask for and verify their credentials.
A. I would like to know when and where they went to school to be a coach and if that school is recognized by Coach Federation; how many clients they have worked with and in what area they specialize. I would like to see testimonials from their clients showing actual results. I would also like to know what I could reasonably expect as a client of theirs.
A. They should ask how long the coach has been working and how many clients they currently have. They should also ask the coach to describe their methods and ways in which their clients achieve results.
A. They should really have a good understanding of what coaching is and is not. They should understand that coaches work with well people who seek personal and or professional growth. Coaches are not therapists or consultants but unbiased professionals who enable their clients to achieve their goals in a timely manner.
