- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My online hourly rate depends on the grade level, needs, and other special requests from the family. $50 per hour is a start of rate for general education in the elementary to middle school level. Prices will be adjusted as more needs and/or special needs are required. Adult students start rate is $65 per hour. They can also be negotiated when multiple meetings per week are requested. Unfortunately, there was a customer who failed to pay me on time and blackmailed me on my profile, I therefore require all customers to pay in full for the previous session before we continue the next session. It was such a life lesson learned.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we can schedule a free consultation meeting via Skype/Zoom/GoogleMeet/MS Teams. Then, we can discuss more about the student's needs, expectations, and the rate that both parties agree with. After that, we will begin our sessions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
When I see workshops that are offered and they match what I am doing right now, I try my best to attend. I also stay updated with the education field by reading educational newsletters in my emails. When available, I search for continue education courses and/or certificates to enhance my skills. I took Instructional Technology as my second master degree because I see that teaching with technology is the trend in this field.
