I am a composer with a Ph.D. in Music which I earned from the State University of New York. I have a Master and a Bachelor degree from Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, China. Among my composition genres and forms are chamber, orchestral, choral, vocal and instrumental works. I also write music for television, movies, and dance. Around the world, my music has been performed in major concerts and venues such as in Australia, England, Romania, Japan, China and the U.S.A.

I was the founder of a unique Computer and Electronic Music Studio which can be found at Beijing Central Conservatory of Music in China. I have performed electronic music and programmed for Water Passion After St. Matthew as well as the movies Hidden Dragon, Crouching Tiger, Hero and The Banquet. For Hero and The Banquet, I was also the music editor. I have also created music for the CDs 2000 Today and Bitter Love.
At present, I am a guest professor of Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. I also give lectures, as a visiting composer, in institutions in the States, like the School of Music in Oregon University and the Peabody Conservatory of Music.

As a music education advocate, I offer private composition as well as computer and electronic music lessons to guide and encourage those who want to cultivate their career in the field of music or those who want to try to discover the pleasure of music creation at a reasonable rate.

Two locations for class:
1. Midtown Manhattan at 34th Street, between 9th and 10th Avenue.
2. Flushing, Queens, Nearby Queens College.
