Introduction: For me, it's all about capturing the total essence and energy of you and your event in a natural, non intrusive and documentary approach. I definitely classify myself as a true artist and a lover of love, beauty and life. I'm also a perfectionist. All of these attributes will shine through in the finished product that you'll receive. It will be that of the utmost highest quality and of the truest documentation of your event. I'm super easygoing, fun and I'm always smiling and on the move.. Let's do this! I just adore all of the wonderful and interesting people I get to meet as all the wonderful locations I get the honor to shoot at. My job has enabled me to do photography assignments worldwide. I've had the honor of witnessing and shooting over 500 weddings since 2005, as well shooting hundreds of other various photography projects. Last year, I was in search of a photographer for our corporate holiday event. I'm very particular who I hire and did my research. I started to read reviews on Erica Lyn, took a look at her website and immediately she left a wonderful impression . Once I spoke with Erica I could not wait to work with her. On the day of the event she was on time and just a few seconds of meeting her I could tell photography is her passion. If something funny or exciting was happening at the event I never had to direct her, she was already there capturing the moment. I also appreciate that she was not obtrusive. She would swoop in to capture the moment and never made us feel like there was a photographer in our way. I also added the photo booth to our event. We never seen anything like it! The props were amazing and her assistant was wonderful. We really enjoyed looking back and seeing our CFO with the large money chain necklace. I am extremely happy that I found Erica Lyn. She did such a superb job at the holiday event and not only are we hiring her again this year, but I also hired her to be my sister's wedding photographer .

Erica's photo's for our wedding came out absolutely perfect!!! I hadn't ever used Thumbtack for anything before and a friend had suggested I check it out and I am so happy that we did!! Erica promptly responded with a quote that was less than I had quoted and when I saw her website and portfolio I thought it was too good too be true. She has blown us away with the job she did! She even came earlier than the time we had originally talked about to get some getting ready photos before the ceremony that I didn't even think about taking. She was so professional and as I look at some of the photos I remember thinking I didn't even see her and yet she captured everything!! Some weddings I have been apart of I feel like the photographer is so in your face but Erica was able to do everything from couple shots to dance shots without making it feel staged. I feel like all of our photos look so natural! I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a photographer. P.S. I know people who haven't received their photos after 6 months. Erica was able to upload to the website and send a disc drive in 1 month!!!

Shooting a residence-based 9-foot concert grand piano is not for the faint hearted. Our international piano company has successfully used Thumbtack to select photographers for a number of years. We selected Erica Lyn and were nothing short of blown away. We asked for around 15 photos - we received 97. We said that supplement lighting would not be necessary - we received photos that made the bronze elements of the piano interiors pop, due to the gold-shade lighting that was added. We offered to do our own editing - we received perfectly edited, cropped, and balanced photos. We feel that Erica should have charge more, much more for this remarkable shoot project. I love having open communication with my clients at anytime. I can be reached through, phone, email, text, Skyped..Etc. Once a potential client reached to me, I'm there to help. I can help walk you through the process and assist you in any questions or concerns you might have.

I have a BA degree. I've also been a lifelong artist.
