Douglas was really professional and nice when he came to exterminate roaches in our apartment. After 2 weeks we were still seeing roaches, and so we called him and he came back immediately to do another round. Very pleased with the followup - highly recommended!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

As a chef living in San Diego, the hours were long and the pay wasn't enough to get by, I actually needed a dual income to survive. I saw an ad online offering all sorts of courses, pest control was not one of them, I felt I needed to learn a new trade and applied for a welding course and a HVAC course, unfortunately the courses were full time and I had to work. I eventually returned to NYC where I was hired as a pest control technician.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Many pest are seasonal, in the spring I find myself doing a lot of termite, bedbug, ant and bee jobs. Roaches and rodents are all year round.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always be sure the company you hire is a legal business, licensed and insured.
