Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. With more than 30 years of professional writing experience, I have honed my skills to be able to deliver on-target messages.
Just as important, I do my work with passion and the desire to do the absolute best for my clients. I work quickly and accurately and meet all my deadlines.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love writing. It's as simple as that. I have been reading an writing nearly all my life and working as a freelancer gives me the chance to really enjoy what I am doing.
I love helping people. There's no greater thrill than getting a note back saying, "Hey, I got that job because of the resume you put together," or "Our event crew 105 people because of the publicity plan you set up for us.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. The main question is: What can PLQ Freelancing do for me?
The answer is: It all depends on what you need done.
Our stock in trade is any kind of writing. Resumes are a specialty, as are job-specific cover letters. But we can do a lot more than that.
Sometimes, people have a letter they need written -- whether for a complaint or to ask for help on something or as a formal thank-you.
We also do newsletters, press release and other types of writing, as well as setting up social-networking programs.
