Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Installations of LCD Flat Screen TV's, Plasma Flat Screen TV's, LED Flat Screen TV's. I have been doing a lot more installations above fireplaces.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Watch out. Do not select someone by price alone. A lot of fly by night people who claim they can mount the tv, but they do not do it correctly. Find someone with videos, with photos, with references, with a website, with a facebook account, etc.. Make sure they know what they are doing.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Tools are the most important factor about the trade. Having access to the right tools makes the jobs go smoothly, from the right keyhole saw to make the wires concealed to the right impact wrench to drive the lag bolts.

A. Can you mount onto brick? Answer is YES, the TV can be mounted onto any wall surface, brick, stucco, drywall, wood studs, metal studs, etc..

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. One client once had a tv they were told could not be mounted on their wall. I drove to the location to find that the wall was a brick wall and after drilling holes, inserting masonry anchors and tightening the lag bolts, I was able to show them I could actually hang from the mount. Once tv was mounted they were very pleased.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I have been a carpenter for over 20 years. My undergrad was in Architecture. As I was doing more carpentry jobs, more and more people asked me if I could mount their tv. It became a more important part of my business.
