- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend all the major cosmetic trade shows and take continuing education classes. I subscribe to many trade magazines and blogs. I also do product testing to keep current with the best and latest products. I love every minute of it!!!! The research and education is almost as fun as applying makeup.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always have loved Art and Fashion. When I was in school I could never decide between Fine Art and Design. Being a Makeup Artist is the perfect combination of both.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my jobs are Bridal. I also try and do a creative project once a month to keep my skills fresh.
