Your Event Matters is a team of passionate, honest and caring professionals who offer a cohesive array of expertise in entertainment services. Our family will take a proud role in your simple and traditional or elegant and stunning event and fill it with laughter, fun, excitement and memories.

We specialize in wedding services but also perform at school functions, sweet 16s, and private and corporate parties.

Through careful planning, we will take your dream wedding and transform it to reality. You have a vision of your wedding that you may have had since you were a small child. We want to take that vision, work with you, your venue, and other vendors and create that vision for you! It is extremely important to us that you are as comfortable and stress free as possible, translating into a party that you can enjoy without having to worry about what and when the next activity is coming.

A. We specialize in Wedding entertainment and Photo Booth rentals but also provide entertainment for many other types of formal gatherings!

A. We provide DJ services, MC services, Lighting services and Photo Booth rentals in the Hudson Valley and surrounding areas. Rest assured, we only provide entertainment to 1 party a day. No suprises with us, you will speak with me, Donnie, the owner, DJ and MC. I will help you plan the entertainment for your party then I will be there to execute our planning!

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. If you are looking for a very personalized event we are the people for you. Our attention to detail and personalization come second to NO ONE!

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. You do NOT have to follow traditions. It is your event and you can personalize it any way you like. We are here to guide you through the process. It is important to know that when you booked your vendors you not only booked their performance but you also booked their knowledge. Please refer to them when you have a question. Do not stress yourself out, it is very important that you are calm and enjoying the party you have created!

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Make sure you have a contract for each given vendor and make sure that what ever DJ company you book will allow you to sit with the people that will be performing at your party. You NEED to ensure that they have the personality that works best for you!

Also, make sure that any vendor you are thinking about hiring has insurance to protect you and the venue.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. If the prices are too good to be true they usually are. Make sure you dont skimp on your DJ, Photographer, Videographer or venue. You do not want to regret anything after your event.
