We attend various tradeshows across the country. Digital document production is technology oriented, so changes are pretty much constant.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask for references. Almost anyone can fix a simple paper jam, but print management goes beyond such simplre repairs. Creating a balanced deployment for a department with hundreds or thousands of printers takes experience.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Sometimes a client will order a new machine, and it will be defective. They always say 'But it's new, it shouldn't have any problems.' If that's the case, then Dodge, Toyota and the rest of the car manufacturers seem to have missed that memo. But really, this is what warranties are for.
