I provide in house or in studio for professional music lessons by teacher with BS in Applied Music.

Rates are reasonable and lessons are followed with performance in Astoria and other venues in NYC.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. I teach guitar, piano and vocal training which requires obtaining sheet music and songs to study for that student.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. I have a bachelor of science in applied music and have many years of performing experience and success with my students for guitar, voice and piano.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I learn a lot on the internet and have obtained free sheet music for traditional songs as well as soundtracks used for vocalist.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. If they have good references and credentials from clients. Also, if they have longevity with clients.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Ask for my references and clients i have been teaching for many years and they will give praise and excellent comments on my teaching.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I love teaching music and put all my time into obtaining songs for my students and to teach to his/her fullest potential.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love the kids and adults who love music! I also like the performances i put together for concerts like the september concert show, since 2008.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. What music do i teach? I teach pop, tradition, latin, disco, r&b and all styles of music to all of my students.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. My favorite story is when one of my students was approached during a performance, and asked if she had ever tried out for american idol. The kid was speechless and a great singer/songwriter!

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. I am into music 100% and live to teach songs, performance, singing, playing and enjoy my job as a music teacher.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I was going to college to study marketing but kept going into music and ended up majoring in music on elvis' birthday.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I am very proud of the september concert of 2011 on the 11th of september where my students put on a great performance!

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I study constantly new methods of teaching music to my students. I also am planning to finish my masters Music as well as special and general education.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. I would say that "rap" and "hip hop" music have integrated into the pop style of music. I believe that soundtracks are replacing "live" musicians and that new ways of performance will take place in the next 10 years.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. I perform at the Midway Nursing Home in Maspeth, Queens and my students and I put on a Xmas show for the residents on December 18, 2011. Other recent projects were performing at the Athens square park. I would say it took several weeks to perfect ths songs with my students. Sometimes I do require a fee of no more than $35 to give my students a DVD of their performance.
