- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A la carte prices typically range anywhere from $1/piece (place cards) and $1.50/ envelope and up depending on size, font, and any other features. Pricing is discounted when processing package requests. ** Minimum of 50% of the agreed price is due as deposit before I start work and is non refundable. The balance is due at completion prior to shipping, unless alternate arrangements are made. Shipping via priority mail is included in your pricing. Upgraded shipping options and alternate payment options can also be discussed on an individual basis. Multiple payment methods are offered as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A brief interview of sorts. We would discuss designs they have in mind, time frames and any special requests. I walk them through sample selection, policies regarding payment and general info they can use even if they decide not to work work me.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
One friend asked me to letter her wedding invites sometime around 2005. From there it spread by word of mouth at her wedding. I've been doing this ever since.
