I don't work out much but after working with Sam several times I was educated on not only the importance and benefits of working out, but also, as a beginner, I was taught proper form and execution. Any beginner who has no idea how to work out, get a trainer and get Sam Englander.

Sam was an exceptional trainer. He was able to challenge me so that I got the most out of my workout while also encouraging me to work harder through each exercise. His knowledge on the subject matter was also much better than most trainers I have worked with in the past, allowing me to not just understand how to complete my exercise, but why. I would definitely recommend Sam to anyone looking for a personal trainer!

Sam is an extremely patient and motivation person. He always helps to keep me motivated through my workouts and has assisted me in creating a workout plan that works for me. He's very open to varied types of diets and styles of exercise, but is most importantly concerned about his clients safety and health. He is extremely knowledgable has on occasion altered our workouts according to my I juries.

Sam is an outstanding trainer. I had some issues with my knee and Sam developed a varied and fun program to help me strengthen the muscles around it, and build upper body strength too. I'm not a "gym person", and Sam made me look forward to going. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

    I am always looking for continuing education and certifications that I can take to further improve within my field.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I took a Fitness minor as an undergraduate at the University of Pittsburgh, which prepared me to take the Personal Trainer Certification exam. I instantly fell in love with the profession, so I decided to continue my education. Therefore, I pursued and I received my Master's degree in Exercise Science at the University of Pittsburgh. Now I am looking to take that one step further and work towards a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
