- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continually attend professional education workshops in acupuncture,chinese herbs, myofascial massage and qi gong to continue to sharpen my skills.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been fascinated by alternative and natural ways that the body heals itself. Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs,supplements and massage therapy are ideal ways to communicate with and direct the body into its' own self healing.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Massage therapy and Chinese Medicine are highly trained professional endeavors.Practitioners in this field are trained to communicate medically with western medicine doctors, while assisting the body into its' own state of health , called homeostasis.They use strategies and techniques that are compatible with western medical interventions, but have fewer side effects and can bring about permanent health results. A truly holistic view of health recognizes and utilizes the strengths of both paradigms.
