FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I am constantly taking continuing education courses to stay up on the latest developments in acupuncture.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I, myself, was a skeptic, until I tried acupuncture and it treated my chronic IBS I had suffered with for 8 years. Also my mother who has suffered with asthma since her teens and gastrointestinal problems since her 20's had remarkable results, she doesn't even need most of her medications anymore.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure they are a Licensed Acupuncturist and not a Certified Acupuncturist. A Licensed Acupuncturist has far more in depth training, they have attended a 4 year acupuncture program, and learn eastern and western medicine. A Certified Acupuncturist is often a western medical professional that has taken a few courses in acupuncture, they haven't been taught the full theory behind it, or all the acupuncture points that exist.
