I am an architect for ordinary people. I offer tailored design, negotiable fees, and projects structured to individual needs. Style can be discovered in the way you live and work rather than imposed from without. It may take a trained eye and some creative use of time and materials, but the daunting task of configuring your space is well within your reach if you have an experienced, listening guide.
I've learned how spatial problems can be finessed from my experience in luxury retail and residential design, how scheduling and management are as important as good taste in making a project successful, and how asking the right questions of a client (and a contractor) can make practical what seems unattainable. Your scope may be large or small, commercial, residential or institutional, renovation or ground-up.
I am licensed in New York and Pennsylvania. I am able to design everywhere. Real people can have architecture.
A. How will we work together? What will you need to get started? When can I expect a final product and what are the parts of the project leading up to that? What will you do if I'm not happy with your work half-way through, or if I wish to make changes at the end? How can I be assured I will not be taken advantage of? Can I contact you along the way just to check in?
A. Architecture & interior design - all custom design work - can all be affordable and accessible to ordinary people with modest budgets and no prior experience in hiring a design professional. If your designer is doing his job, he'll make his work fit your needs.

A. Consider your needs, hopes, budget, schedule and expectations. Be open minded to the possibility that your project might be either more complicated or - more likely - much simpler than you may have thought.
A. Continuing Education for Architects to maintain state - required architectural registration; reading of professional journals to keep abreast of developments in the field, new technology and advances in environmental and sustainability technologies.
