FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I ask them to send me photos of the furniture, including close ups of the damage...in focus! If I think there is a good chance I can help, I often schedule an on site inspection, at no charge or obligation. Finally, we determine the price and schedule the repairs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Fibrenew trains all franchisees at it's leather repair university in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We also attend annual technical seminars to learn what's new and practice techniques.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always enjoyed working with my hands and spent many years designing and building fine wood furniture. This has been a great way for me to integrate my interests.
