I had them come by on several occasions to repair my computer. Children seem to always have something they want to do when parents need their computer..then it's broken. Finally, they fixed me up with a new computer and I have had no problems since. Great work people. Very happy now.

I found them to be very reasonable in price and excellent at the work they do. They went above and beyond what I expected them to do for my computer system. DID NOT PAY FOR WHAT I DID NOT NEED. I They explained everything to me and let me compare prices before making a commitment to the services and it was done quickly too. Thanks guys! You have my vote of confidence!

Question and answer

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Make, Model # of the computer or product. ie printer LCD screen. What the general issues is. What they are looking to have done. What their budget will be for the work they need done. Have they done any shopping.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Most of my client's cannot afford to have their computers repaired by "store fronts" and "big businesses." We work with the people that need their computers and can't afford to buy new ones. We go above and beyond the work needed most of the time. eg: a system comes in for more memory, but the inside is very dusty, we will clean it up. or you have documents on system I back them up for you. We have created backups and have restore disks for clients that would like the original programs that came with their systems.
We show you the places you can go to get the lowest prices and either you can pick them up or we can order for you. We keep you in the know of what it is you are getting for the money you are spending, all the way down to you having you computer up and running. We create a detailed list of the issues and work we've done to fix issues, if they can be fixed, or not and what can be done. Furthermore, we keep in contact with our customers just in case there are any other concerns that may come up. Finally, we strive to put a smile on your face and keep you happy.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The challenges! Every once and a while we come across issues that have no rhyme or reason for happening. So we like to recreate the circumstances as best as we know them to see if we can figure out what the cause was. We also like meeting people. This is a peoples job. We are constantly meeting people and sharing ideas solutions, thoughts, etc. Patients and tolerance, are some of the things that this type of work has too. If you don't have it....well.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. "How much is this going to cost?"

We show them the prices of the items needed and the labor price varies as to work needed, such as if you need a new operating system installed or a office program or internet security program. etc.

"Can you save my pictures and documents?"

Most of the time the answer is yes! If the computers Hard drive is working and you can't access it. We can save you information. If you have deleted information you need to recover, again I can, yet it depends on circumstances of the deleted information.

"I have an old computer that I need updated?"

This depends of a variety of thing. Is it hardware ie "Motherboard, Processor, Memory, Hard Drive." or software? ie What operating system do you presently have and if your hardware is compatable with it. ie will it work on your computer sufficently and smoothly.
These are the most important things to consider.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. We had a client that switched phone services and they had their computer internet service through another person. During the services the client receives a call from a neighbor that needed computer work. They forgot their password and needed their computer right away. (Note: this is 11pm) We were asked if we could just take a look at the issues and maybe it was simple. Well, it was a family computer and the last person that they called to work on a computer of theirs took it and never returned or called, no number nothing!!! We could not take the computer out of the home. One of my workers stayed their thoughout the night with the family to work on the computer for them. Apparently, the mother was in stage 4 cancer and didn't remember what the password was and attempted to fix it via reinstalling the Operating system. A no charge job!

We had another client in college and term paper due tomorrow when computer crashed. Got the call late at night again. Went to trouble shoot, but motherboard was damaged and power supply burned out. They gave transportation, food and paid for the services which went thoughout the night. I had to go to straight to work the next day from their home, but they had their term paper ready for class.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. "There is good and bad Carma." We do not like getting over. We do not like cheating our customers. We need you as much as you need us. We are not out here to make business, we also have many clients that are now friends of ours. We are a very small computer repair center, so we don't deal with alot of people. We get to be more personal with the work we do. We treat your issues as if it were our own.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. About eight years ago I had a computer that needed fixing. I spent $350.00 to have it fixed and found out that it should not have cost that much. I was even wondering what all was done so I went back to the store and it was gone, close down. The very next day, GONE!

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. Laptop HP Pavilion dv 6000 AMD Turion x2 processor 160gb HDD 2gb mem. Ugh! Graphics card went, so we were told. But to look at the system there was some sticky substance on the screen and keyboard. System isn't new, ok. So we order another motherboard, install it and the system still doesn't work. Hard drive failure.? Well, we could not see that coming. We had spoken to the client and only new of the graphic card issue. Well, they forgot to mention that a liquid was spilled on the computer also. So I looked into what options the client had for this hard drive. They didn't want to spend on the system and they were not concerned with any data on the hard drive. So we used "ebay" to start the search for a replacement motherboard for about $170.00, new would have been $240.+shipping from the manufacture and only had a warrenty of 90 days. If went bad it was too bad. We discussed this with the client and got them the one we found. Installed it and then decided on a new hard drive, Western Digital with a 5 yr warrenty $44.88. The repairs and reinstallation of the operating system took three days. The wait time on parts took one week. Total work time twelve hours. Total price $278.18
